Final Girl Wines: Where Horror Meets Exceptional Winemaking
Winemaker Anna Lancucki has been crafting wine for over 20 years. At just 13, she watched *French Kiss*—a Meg Ryan rom-com that sparked a lifelong dream. From that moment on, she was determined to become a winemaker. She studied at UC Davis, the top Enology & Viticulture school in the U.S., then built her career in Napa, Sonoma, and even worked harvests in New Zealand at some of the world’s most renowned wineries.
How Final Girl Was Born
In 2016, fate (and a party kitchen) brought Anna and Peter together in New Zealand. They instantly bonded over their love of wine and horror movies. Their first conversation? A deep dive into what skills they’d bring to a zombie apocalypse. That unforgettable moment sparked the idea for Final Girl Wines—a label that blends their two greatest passions.
The Final Girl Approach
At Final Girl Wines, we partner with some of the most celebrated AVA’s in the U.S., working only with vineyards that follow sustainable, biodynamic, or organic farming practices. We focus on small-batch, minimal-intervention winemaking, allowing the fruit to shine naturally. The result? High-quality, approachable wines that appeal to every kind of wine lover.
