Welcome to *MarBeso*—“kiss of the sea.” We craft cool-climate natural wines near the ocean, with grapes from the Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Cruz Mountains. Our wines reflect our love for the sea and the beautiful vineyards she kisses. We hand-select each site with care, producing limited quantities. Want in? Meet the Makers
We’re Colin and Hannah McNany—South Bay natives with a passion for wine and the ocean. After years of making wine for others, we launched *MarBeso* in 2019. This year marks Colin’s 20th vintage, with experience from Australia to New Zealand and now California. Together, we produce small-batch, site-specific wines that speak of place and purity.
Our Winemaking
We keep it clean, natural, and honest. Native yeasts. Neutral French oak. No fining or filtering. We aim for bright, acid-driven wines that are true to the vineyard and the vintage. We choose organic fruit whenever possible—always putting the vineyard first.
