About Dusty Nabor Wines
Founded in 2015, Dusty Nabor Wines is a boutique winery nestled in an industrial corner of Camarillo, California. The focus? Site-specific wines with minimal intervention. Grapes are sourced from the Sta. Rita Hills, Ballard Canyon, Los Olivos District, and Happy Canyon AVAs. Varieties include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Grenache, Syrah, Viognier, and Cabernet Sauvignon—mostly as single-varietal, single-vineyard bottlings. Each bottle aims to reflect its vineyard, vintage, and the people behind it. Allocations go to the mailing list first, then the public if available.
About the Winemaker
Dusty Nabor is a SoCal native known for his endless curiosity and high-achieving spirit. He’s taken on everything from surfing and motocross to poker, auto racing, and triathlons—often at professional or elite amateur levels. His love for endurance sports led him to Karin Langer, his partner in life and in wine. They met through their shared passion for triathlon, and over time, their adventures shifted from finish lines to grapevines.
In 2009, Dusty had to choose between racing in the Ironman World Championship or making wine during harvest. He chose wine—and never looked back. A longtime wine lover, he dove into the craft in 2015, starting small and learning as he went. By 2017, his first releases sold out quickly. Today, Dusty runs his own winery space in Camarillo, doing it all himself and aiming to improve every vintage.
Dusty still works at his family’s steel business, where he’s spent 30 years. School wasn’t his path—hands-on passion was. He and Karin are also dedicated animal lovers. Their beloved Nebelung rescue cat, Ronan Feral, often makes a guest appearance on social media.
