Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard is a small gem set in the splendor of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley. Our 39-acre vineyard stretches across a sunny mesa on our 106-acre property.

Buttonwood’s varietal mix of Sauvignon Blancs, Grenache Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Grenache and Syrah reflects the preferences of our founders for Bordeaux and Rhône style wines.

Since 1983, Buttonwood has been a hidden gem in the heart of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley. Our 42-acre vineyard, bathed in golden sunlight, sits on a picturesque mesa surrounded by the natural beauty of our farm—home to olives, pomegranates, peonies, and our legendary peaches!

Explore Our Wines

Come experience the charm of Buttonwood with a 90-minute wine tasting in our lush outdoor garden or cozy patio. We’re open daily from 11 am to 5 pm, offering tastings starting at just $25 per person. Members of our Imbibers Club enjoy complimentary tastings for themselves and up to three guests. While we do our best to welcome walk-ins, we recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends. Bring the whole family, including your furry friends!

Live Music in the Garden
Join us every Saturday from 1pm - 4pm for live music in the garden, paired with delicious charcuterie, wine, and lively tunes. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged!

Red, White, and Blues
