10th Annual SYV Touch-A-Truck
Rolls Into Town for a Day of Family Fun and Hands-On Learning
Solvang, CA — May 2, 2026 — Families from across the community are invited to attend the 10th Annual SYV Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at 611 Atterdag Road. This highly anticipated, family-friendly event offers children a unique opportunity to explore, climb, and interact with a wide variety of vehicles—from emergency response trucks and construction equipment to service vehicles and more. Designed as both an educational and interactive experience, Touch-A-Truck gives children a hands-on way to learn about the vehicles they see in everyday life while engaging their curiosity and imagination. Attendees will have the chance to meet local heroes, discover how things work, and enjoy a morning of meaningful play.
To ensure an inclusive experience for all children, a special “No-Horn Hour” from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM will provide a quieter, sensory-friendly environment for young children and those sensitive to loud noises.
Hosted by Bethania Preschool and After School, the event reflects the school’s mission:
“Our staff works with parents to meet each child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development needs. We emphasize the growth of each child’s sense of self-confidence, wonder and self-worth.” Now celebrating its 10th year, SYV Touch-A-Truck has become a beloved community tradition, bringing together families, local businesses, and organizations for a day of connection, exploration, and support. Proceeds from the event help enhance programs and learning opportunities for children in the community.
