Join us for an evening of art, community, and celebration at The Giving Ink in Solvang. This special event marks the opening of a solo exhibition of new work by artist Michelle J. Feldman, paired with an Open Studio and official Solvang Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.
Feldman’s latest body of work features oil paintings on rice paper mounted on panel. The landscapes capture quiet, fleeting moments in Santa Barbara County at dawn and dusk—misty mornings, fog-softened hills, and familiar roads transformed by shifting light. Her work focuses on mood and atmosphere, inviting viewers to pause and reflect.

The delicate threads of the rice paper create a luminous depth, echoing themes of connection, impermanence, and transition.
