Join us for a fun, family-friendly, and educational experience as we explore three unique farm, ranch, and U-pick farmstand locations in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.
The Farmland & Flavors of SY Valley tour offers a hands-on journey through the region’s rich agricultural landscape. Guests will enjoy U-pick opportunities, on-farm tastings, and visits to one of the area’s oldest historic agricultural sites, an olive grove, and organic produce and family owned walnut grove.
We’ll wrap up the day with a relaxing on-farm picnic surrounded by scenic views and fresh flavors straight from the land.

The tour starts with check-in and ground school at basecamp. After gearing up, enjoy a 4×4 tour to the top of the ranch, gaining over 1,000 feet of vertical and a drive through our protea flower fields.

Ceramics Class – Charcuterie Dishes (Saturday, October 4th, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

Join us at Community Clayworks and get your hands dirty! In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn to create the perfect accoutrement charcuterie dishes from scratch. Customize your dishes with unique underglaze transfer surface decorations. Your finished masterpieces will be ready for pick-up at the studio in 2 weeks, or we can ship it to you upon request. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
A charcuterie spread and wine tasting will start the class.

Franc & Blanc Tasting (Saturday, October 4th, 1 – 4 p.m.)

Nestled amongst ancient oaks, with sweeping views of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, this will be an unique tasting to not miss. Franc & Blanc is a tasting that highlights one of the most beguiling, intriguing and most successful red Bordeaux grapes grown here in the eastern edges of the Santa Ynez Valley – Cabernet Franc. Wineries from all over Santa Barbara Wine Country will convene at Gainey Estate Vineyards for a special tasting focusing on Cabernet Franc and other Blanc based wines like Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. There will be highly curated food matched to these wines along with live music.

Zaca Mesa Vineyard Walk with Wine Tasting (Sunday, October 5th, 9 – 11 a.m.)

Get Ready! An adventure in the vineyard awaits! Weave through our historic vines while our winemaking team shares their knowledge and some behind-the-scenes stories.
The entire walk covers 2.2 miles, or you can opt for just the first loop, which is 1.2 miles. Expect to spend about 1 hour on the full walk or just 40 minutes on the first loop, walking on hard-packed soil. The terrain is not too strenuous, and you can go at your own pace. Wine tasting to follow.

Begin your evening with a tasting reception from 5pm – 6pm. The Solvang Dinner will take place on a closed portion of Copenhagen Drive from 6pm – 8 pm.
