Hello! We’re Jason and Chef Melissa, and Clean Slate Wine Bar is more than a business—it’s a dream brought to life.
Chef Melissa, a Louisiana native, grew up with generations of women who taught her that cooking is an act of love. Her Southern roots shine through in every seasonal, locally inspired dish—crafted to surprise, delight, and warm the soul.
Jason’s passion is discovering small-batch wines and craft beers. He curates a rotating list of unique selections that showcase the incredible talent of California’s lesser-known winemakers and brewers.

Venue Description:
Clean Slate Wine Bar is an intimate venue accommodating up to 48 guests, featuring beer and wine service and food prepared onsite. The warm, inviting space is perfect for private events, tastings, and small celebrations.
Host Corporate Events; Host Social Events; Onsite Catering; Private Dining Options; Allow Outside Vendors (i.e. florists, photographer, etc.)
- Indoor event capacity: 5 tables with seating for 20 plus 4 additional bar seats.
- Outdoor event capacity: 5 tables with a seating for 16 plus 8 additional outdoor bar seats
