Section Wines specializes in small-lot Italian, Bordeaux, and Rhône varietals grown across Santa Barbara County and its surrounding AVAs. Founded by winemaker Marco Lucchesi, our wines blend Old World tradition with a modern aesthetic inspired by Marco’s love for music, art, and storytelling.
Born in Pisa, Tuscany, Marco grew up in a family-run restaurant where wine and food were a way of life. With a father who was a sommelier, Marco was immersed in the wine world from an early age—working his first harvest at 13. After training and working at top Napa Valley wineries like Trefethen, Laird Family Estate, and Judd’s Hill, he launched Section Wines to bring his Italian roots and California experience together.
