Welcome to Rock 12 Distillery—where tradition, craftsmanship, and Central Coast fruit come together in every sip. Nestled in the scenic Santa Rita Hills, we’re proud to be the region’s very first farm-to-glass distillery and tasting room.
Founded by Sarah and Marko Suput in 2016, Rock 12 was born from a bold idea: leave it all behind, buy a working llama farm, and make world-class spirits from scratch. And that’s exactly what we did.
Marko brings with him generations of Serbian distilling tradition. Our custom copper still—handcrafted by a Serbian master—sits at the heart of our operation. It’s a small-batch, open-fire still just like the ones Marko’s family used back home.
We grow our own fruit, harvest local ingredients, and distill everything right here on-site. That means you’re getting true craft spirits—vodka, gin, and brandy—made with care, character, and a whole lot of heart.
It took years of planning, planting, permitting, and patience to open our doors. In winter 2023, Rock 12 finally launched, and we couldn’t be prouder of what’s in the bottle. Every spirit is smooth, flavorful, and handcrafted with passion.
