Solvang ~
Founded in 1997, Rideau Vineyard is a boutique, family-owned winery in Solvang producing highly acclaimed, small-lot wines rooted in the traditions of the Rhône Valley.
Our organically farmed, fifteen-acre estate vineyard is planted to five Rhône varietals—Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, and Roussanne—harvested by hand and crafted into expressive blends and varietal wines. We also source from top vineyards across the region to produce select non-Rhône wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec.
From bud break to bottle, we practice minimal-intervention winemaking, allowing vineyard character and a true sense of place to shine. Centered around a historic adobe tasting room, Rideau’s rolling picnic grounds and century-old oak trees create a relaxed setting, perfect for gathering with friends, family, and four-legged companions.
