Peasants FEAST

peasantsFEAST
Honoring the hands that feed us

Open Wednesday–Sunday | 11am–6pm
No reservations – first come, first served

At peasantsFEAST, we’re not just serving food—we’re telling stories. Every dish has a narrative, from the farmers and ranchers who grow and raise our ingredients, to the winemakers and fishermen who bring their bounty to our kitchen. To us, the peasants are the heroes—the hardworking people who nourish our community. We’re here to celebrate them.

Founded by Chef Michael Cherney and his wife Sarah Cherney, peasantsFEAST is rooted in the idea that meals are more than sustenance—they’re about connection, gratitude, and celebration. “The ‘peasants’ part of our name represents the community we rely on,” says Sarah. “The ‘FEAST’ is inspired by my mom, who believed in the joy and togetherness of shared meals.”

With a seasonal, locally sourced menu and an inviting, casual atmosphere, our food is meant to be savored—not just for flavor, but for the care and purpose behind it. Whether you’re a local or visiting Solvang, peasantsFEAST offers a space to gather, eat well, and honor the stories behind every bite.

Come as you are, stay as long as you like, and join us in celebrating the people, place, and purpose behind every plate.
