Gallery Los Olivos – Where Art Comes to Life
Located in the heart of charming Los Olivos, Gallery Los Olivos has been a beloved destination for fine art lovers since 1992. Now celebrating over 30 years of showcasing creativity, the gallery is the largest fine art space in town, proudly representing more than 50 juried artists from Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties.
Whether your style leans traditional or contemporary, Gallery Los Olivos offers something to inspire and delight. The gallery’s carefully curated collection includes oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, mixed media, mosaics, silk painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, woodturning, clay, and handcrafted jewelry. Many featured artists have earned national acclaim for their exceptional work.
Open daily, the gallery is a welcoming space where art lovers can take their time browsing and discovering new favorites. Each day, a different artist hosts the gallery, offering personal insight into the creative process and warmly greeting guests.
In August 2023, the gallery experienced the bittersweet loss of its iconic 300-year-old Valley Oak, a beloved landmark that had shaded the building since its opening. Though the massive tree caused some structural damage when it fell, the gallery was thankfully spared. The whimsical “C.Z. Elf” house that once sat at the tree’s base was also lost, a reminder of the gallery’s playful spirit and deep community roots.
Now fully restored and refreshed, Gallery Los Olivos continues its mission to inspire, uplift, and bring art into everyday life. Come explore our ever-changing collection and experience the vibrant art scene of the Santa Ynez Valley.
