Flying Flags Campground & Resort:
A Community of Happy Campers
At Flying Flags, every day feels like a celebration. With a s’more in your hand and a brand-new friend at your side, you might forget the little details that brought you here in the first place. Maybe it was the rolling vineyards of California’s Central Coast. Maybe it was the quirky ostrich refuge just down the road. Or maybe it was the small-town charm of Buellton—home of legendary split pea soup. Whatever sparked your trip, once you’re here, you’ll see why Flying Flags is a destination all its own.
This isn’t just a campground.
It’s a community. Porches turn into gathering spots. Fire pits spark conversations and laughter. Bocce courts buzz with friendly competition. Pools and cabanas call out for lazy afternoons and splashy cannonballs. Whether you’re here with family, friends, or meeting neighbors for the first time, you’ll feel right at home in our little village of happy campers.
We’ve designed Flying Flags with fun around every corner. Kids love our splash zone and playground. Parents love that the kids are entertained. Families bond over bocce tournaments that last well into the evening. And of course, our pools are made for both epic games of Marco Polo and much-needed floating naps.
When you’re ready to slow down, we’ve got relaxation built in too. Lounge in a private cabana. Curl up around a cozy fire pit. Stroll next door to our sister property, the Sideways Inn and Lounge, for a drink with a view. Whether you crave adventure or downtime, Flying Flags gives you both.
We know the little things matter.
That’s why we’ve stocked the resort with everything you need. Complimentary Wi-Fi keeps you connected. A general store has the essentials you may have left behind. Laundry facilities make it easy to clean up after big adventures. And for the foodies? We bring incredible food trucks right to the property. That means the best meals are just a few steps away.
Flying Flags is about convenience as much as it is about fun. We supply communal yard games so you don’t have to pack them. We create spaces for families, friends, and neighbors to gather. We host events that bring everyone together. The goal? To make your stay feel effortless and unforgettable.
And let’s be honest—you’ll want to come back. Once you’ve shared stories by the fire, met neighbors who feel like old friends, and watched a Central Coast sunset from your porch, Flying Flags becomes more than just a getaway. It becomes a tradition.
Ready to plan your stay? We make it easy. Book online or give us a call up to 11 months in advance. Whether you’re bringing your RV or reserving one of our cozy accommodations, we’ve got a spot for you.
A quick note on stays:
