Rooted in the heart of California’s Central Coast, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. was founded in 2010 by father-and-son team Jim and Jaime Dietenhofer. Inspired by the mountain visible from their Los Olivos family home, they set out to create craft beer that celebrates the natural beauty and local spirit of the Santa Ynez Valley. From the beginning, their mission was clear: brew exceptional beers and share them with the community they love.
Starting with a small team in Buellton, Fig Mountain quickly grew into one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the country. Today, with a passionate staff of over 200—affectionately known as the #FigFam—we remain committed to our roots and the values that shaped us.
Each Figueroa Mountain beer is handcrafted with care and quality ingredients, reflecting both traditional styles and creative innovation. Our labels feature hand-drawn artwork showcasing the stunning landscapes of the region, from vineyard-lined hills to golden coastlines.
