Humble Beginnings, Rich Legacy
Tucked into the beauty of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley, Buttonwood Farm & Vineyard began with a dream of creating a sustainable, working farm. First came the horses, then organic veggies—and in 1983, the vineyard was born.
Today, our 42-acre vineyard thrives on a sun-kissed mesa surrounded by a vibrant patchwork of olives, pomegranates, herbs, and our beloved peaches. We’ve nurtured 38,000 vines with love and care, introducing Rhône varieties like Syrah, Grenache Noir, and Grenache Blanc, along with Malbec, Musque clone Sauvignon Blanc, and a touch of Chenin Blanc.
