Second Thursday at the Museum: Dr. Katya Adachi Serrano

Join the Santa Ynez Chumash Museum and Cultural Center for a special evening featuring Dr. Katya Adachi Serrano, founder of Serrano Natural Health, as part of the museum’s free Second Thursday at the Museum lecture series.

Dr. Adachi Serrano is a board-certified physician specializing in Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Integrative Medicine. She is also an HIV Specialist, clinical herbalist, and Indigenous medicine consultant who combines evidence-based medicine with holistic approaches to health and wellness.

During this special after-hours event, Dr. Adachi Serrano will share her journey as a “warrior for wellness” and discuss how her heritage, medical experience, and passion for plant-based wellness inspired Serrano Natural Health. Her work incorporates culturally responsive medicine, herbal medicine, bodywork, and Indigenous approaches to health and substance use treatment.

Guests can also enjoy free admission to the museum’s Permanent Exhibit, Temporary Exhibit, and Cultural Park during the event. Audio tours are available for an additional $10 per person.
