Celebrate Los Olivos Day in the Country 2025 – October 11, 2025
It’s our favorite fall tradition – and you’re invited! Join us for the 45th Annual Los Olivos Day in the Country on Saturday, October 11, 2025. This beloved small-town festival brings together neighbors, friends, and over 5,000 guests for a full day of fun, food, and community spirit.
The Parade – A Hometown Highlight
The Los Olivos Day in the Country Parade kicks off at 10:30 AM sharp, and we want YOU to be part of it!
We’re looking for:
Floats full of charm
Classic cars, jeeps, and tractors
Farm animals (a big hit every year!)
Fun, creative ideas that celebrate our town
Parade participants should arrive by 8:30 AM at the field next to Saarloos Wagon Wheel Park (2971 Grand Ave). Don’t miss your chance to help us make this year’s parade the biggest and most memorable yet!
Apple Pie Baking Contest
Bring your best recipe and join our 2nd Annual Los Olivos Apple Pie Contest!
Open to all Santa Ynez Valley residents (sorry, no professional bakers)
Only 15 entries will be accepted – sign up early!
Pies and recipes must be checked in between 8–9 AM at Lavinia Campbell Park
Judging starts at 10 AM, and winners are announced after the parade
Prizes: \$75 for 1st place, \$50 for 2nd, \$25 for 3rd. After judging, we’ll share the pies with the whole community – the sweetest part of the day!
Vendor Booths & Marketplace
Stroll through Alamo Pintado Road, lined with local artisans, makers, and food vendors from 10 AM – 5 PM. Booth space is limited, so vendors should apply early to secure their spot.
Please note: no electricity, no Wi-Fi, and limited cell service. Vendors must be fully set up by 8:45 AM and vehicles must be off the street by 8 AM.
Join the Fun
Los Olivos Day in the Country happens rain or shine – and it’s always unforgettable. Whether you’re joining the parade, baking a pie, or shopping the booths, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
