California Nature & Art Museum
Join the California Nature Art Museum for a free-admission, end-of-summer Family Day on Sunday, August 3rd 2025, from 10AM – 3PM.
This annual event invites visitors to bring the whole family and enjoy free admission to the Museum, and participate in a variety of art-and-nature inspired activities.
Create your own unique art pieces using recycled materials (10AM-1PM), make friends with a lizard, snake, or tortoise from Mahni’s Reptiles (11AM-12PM), enjoy a free cheek or hand painting (12PM-2PM), wonder at live honeybees in an observation hive from Santa Barbara Hives (all day, 10AM-3PM).
Shake paws with an adoptable pet from SYV Humane Society (all day, 10AM-3PM)!
Additional partners include Santa Ynez Valley Children’s Museum and CommUnify – Head Start Program, who will provide educational resources, coloring pages, and new opportunities for engagement. End-of-Summer Family Day admission is free, and reservations are not required.
