Follow-Up class to our 6-Week Beginner Acrylic Painting Class, Adult Intermediate Acrylic Course. Only available to returning students who have completed a 4, 5 or 6-week beginner course.
This class will jump off from the basics and start to dig into technique, practices, style and composition. We’ll work on a new painting of your choice (from a reference photo), but this time we’ll paint the way an artist would traditionally paint. Then we’ll play with limiting palettes and strokes.
Class is limited to 12 students but will require a minimum of 6 to be conducted.
Class runs each Wednesday from 6pm-8:30pm
I would recommend upgrading your paint to professional heavy body colors as you start to run out of Basics/Student grade paint if you haven’t already and purchasing a few more canvases. 2-8×10 panel (cheap is fine) for the first night and your regular supplies is all you’ll need. That class we’ll discuss supplies so you can purchase the correct sizes for the rest of the class . We have supplies you’ll need in the studio for purchase or you can look here for the supplies to order on either Blick or Amazon.
