Peintures de Pain: A Celebration of Bread Through Art

Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Bob’s Well Bread Bakery – Ballard

Bob’s Well Bread Bakery in Ballard welcomes back Santa Ynez Valley artists Mary Kay West and friends from the Central Coast Art League for Peintures de Pain (Paintings of Bread), a special one-day art exhibition celebrating the beauty of bread through still-life paintings.

Inspired by the artistry of Paris’ famed Poilâne Bakery, owner Bob Oswaks collaborated with Mary Kay West and fellow artists to create this unique collection of bread-themed artwork. Participating artists include Mary Kay West, Michelle Feldman, Rachelle Witt, Sandy Wilson, Nicole Burnett, and other Central Coast Art League members.

Guests are invited to view the artwork, meet the artists, and enjoy complimentary refreshments from Bob’s Well Bread Bakery, along with wines and non-alcoholic wines from Sunstone Winery.

The bakery’s regular menu of savory items, artisan pastries, and desserts will also be available for purchase.

Free and open to the public.
