Central Coast artists Wendy Brewer and Christine Marie joined together in creative “UNITY “Gallery Los Olivos: a vibrant collection of works. Celebrating the unifying human and spiritual experiences through Wendy’s mixed media mosaics and Christine’s abstract expressionist fine art paintings.
Wendy Brewer experiences the creative journey as a process that nourishes her heart and soul.
Each piece is a unique representation of that journey. She tells the story through mixed-media mosaics by incorporating art glass, beads, mirror, pieces of metal and clay to create sculpturally influenced mosaic collages.
Her works often include affirming words, inspirational poems or quotes to bring additional depth, meaning and connection.
“The inspiration for Christine Marie’s textural abstracts comes from moments of introspection and stillness, and are about the human experience.
Her colorful pieces beg you to come closer, and there, you find more to see in the nuance of texture and color.”
