Join us for Wake Up With Wellness!! Morning wellness workshops in association with Taste Of The Santa Ynez Valley, taking place October 17th-20th. We invite you to experience even more of what the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer.
Rise and shine with a refreshing, guided trek and tour through the spectacular Pence Vineyard. The stunning 360 degree views are simply breathtaking! Not only a producer of exquisite biodynamic wines, but also a working ranch, home to high-caliber performance horses, Black Angus cattle, Longhorns, and organically raised chickens. Certainly one of the estate’s highlights and not to be missed, is the beautifully landscaped tranquil pond area where we will land for our next adventure.
Next up, Julie Metheany of Bloom Yoga, will lead an align & flow that will not only stretch your muscles but open your mind. Tadasana, or mountain pose, is a fundamental yoga pose with the intention to cultivate the strength, stability and stillness of a mountain. The Santa Ynez Mountains will be an inspiration for the practice that Julie will guide you through. This all levels class will allow you to safety explore poses that feel familiar to you but will also introduce good alignment principles with current neuroscience movement patterns that will leave you feeling open, light and completely at home in your body. Class will end with a breath and meditation practice that will leave you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud.
A private tasting of the main Estate wines from the Pence Winery and light fare will conclude the mornings activities. Pence Winery is a boutique family owned winery that has limited production, sustainable wines. Pence vineyards organically farms 38 acres of world-class Pinot Noir, Syrah, Gamay and Chardonnay. Experience wine that is steeped in traditional approach, that provides both flavor and pleasure!
Yoga mats can be supplied at no charge. Some light fare will be available and refreshments provided.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Healthy Eating, Active Living (HEAL) Coalition of Santa Ynez Valley.
