From farm-to-table, rustic wine country cuisine to New American and modern Danish fare, to iconic sweets and award-winning beers, spirits and world-class wines, Taste of Solvang offers something for everyone!

Farmers Market Chef Walks | Solvang Farmers Market
Led by a selection of Solvang’s most prominent farm-to-table chefs, each Farmers Market Chef Walk will start with a guided stroll through the Solvang Farmers Market where you will tour the abundance of colorful produce that will lead to a unique gourmet experience comprised of that day’s Market haul. Space is extremely limited; reservations are required.

Chef Pink | Bacon & Brine
Grab your chance to stroll along with Food Network’s’ TV personality Chef Pink and learn her professional insights, passion for fermented foods and how she came to establish Bacon & Brine, one of the hottest eatery spots in Solvang where they are dedicated to hyper-local sourcing to create menus that are seasonal, 100% from scratch, and with their own bit of sass.
Chef Steven Snook | First & Oak
This previously sold-out Farmers market walk will entail a conversational walk with Chef Steven Snook, learning about produce and culinary technique. We encourage questions. Once you have selected your produce you will accompany Jonathan Rosenson, Sommelier, for a walking vineyard tour of Coquelicot Estate where you will learn about grape growing, winemaking and of course sample some wine while you walk. During the wine walk, Chef Steven Snook will be preparing a beautiful 4-course tasting menu.

Learn To Blind Taste Like A Sommelier | Wandering Dog Wine Bar; Solvang, CA
Enjoy a guided blind tasting of four red wines while learning how to use wine knowledge and sensory skills to arrive at a final conclusion for each wine. Cheese and crackers are provided to accompany tasting. Basic wine knowledge is highly recommended for this event.
Limited to 10 people, reservations in advance are required. **Not included in Weekend Pass or VIP packages

Join 25 Santa Ynez Valley Chefs, Bakers, restaurants and fine food establishments presenting their Danish-inspired bites, plus a variety of hand-picked local wineries, and local craft beer and spirits producers. Skip the sit-down dinner, and instead treat yourselves to a smorgasbord of delightful tastes that will mix and mingle as you sip and savor while you enjoy live music that will set the mood for the Opening Night nibbles during this decadent evening showcasing some of the Valley’s best food and drink crafters.

Solvang “Tasting Trail“
Satisfy your cravings as you shop your way through Solvang as dozens of food businesses welcome Tasting Trail guests with bite-sized edible treats. Discover Solvang’s many unique boutiques, eateries and other intriguing merchants, while sampling participating businesses’ delightful delicacies and tasty offerings. The 2017 Taste of Solvang Tasting Trail will overlap in hours with the 2017 Solvang Wine & Beer Walk, so attendees may simultaneously take part in both food and drink activities. BONUS: the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, the Elverhoj Museum of History & Art, and the Wildling Museum will offer free admission for Tasting Trail ticket holders.

Pair your shopping with a refreshing taste of your pick of over 15+ participating wine tasting rooms, wine bars and beer bars on this popular 2-day stroll through Solvang Village. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover new favorites, sample local, boutique wines and craft beers as you work up a hunger for more Taste of Solvang happenings. The 2017 Taste of Solvang Wine & Beer Walk will feature an earlier Saturday start-time (2 PM-7 PM), providing guests with more tasting hours. The Solvang Wine & Beer Walk ticket includes select “Taste of Solvang tastings” at each tasting stop; Taste of Solvang wine/beer tasting menu and options vary by location. (Must be 21 and over to participate in the Wine & Beer Walk. Limited to 3 pours per location.)

Buttonwood Farm Winemaker Dinner | Buttonwood Farm Winery; Solvang, CA
Head over to Buttonwood Farm, a little gem in the Santa Ynez Valley and join Buttonwood Farm Winery winemaker, Karen Steinwachs, for a locally-sourced, gourmet dinner comprised of seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients, including some from Buttonwood’s very own farm! Each unforgettable course is paired with Buttonwood’s estate-grown wines, served amidst the splendor of Buttonwood’s beautiful garden.
