BYOB Sip-n-Spin Pottery Class – Grab your friends and bring a bottle of wine to unplug with mud and join us for a creative night out! Have fun and get messy as we walk you through the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel.
Pottery
Create a unique piece of pottery, then choose your glaze option. Your fired (finished) piece can be picked up at a later date or shipped for an additional fee.
All materials and firing included. Cheese platter provided. Beginners encouraged!
History
BYOB Sip-n-Spin Pottery Class
Veronica Medina, a ceramic artist since 1995, holds degrees in Anthropology and Art Education from NYU. Her extensive experience includes studying clay worldwide, shaping her expertise in ceramic techniques and cultures. Formerly a member artist at the Clay Art Center in NY, she taught ceramics across NYC and at Trevor Day School for nine years.
Recently, she taught at Dunn School and Solvang Middle School in CA’s Santa Ynez Valley. In 2020, Veronica founded Community Clayworks, a welcoming ceramics studio in Buellton, CA. Recognized as a success story by the Los Angeles Regional Small Business Development Coalition and Economic Development Collaborative in 2022.
