26th Annual Taste of Solvang
Join us Wednesday-Sunday, March 14-18, 2018 for a unique experiential culinary weekend featuring Solvang farmers, chefs, bakers, winemakers, brewers, distillers and artisans showcasing the bounty of Santa Barbara wine country set amidst our quaint Danish town.
Taste your way through dozens of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and wine and beer tasting rooms while you explore our authentic architecture, thatched roof cottages, old-world craftsmanship, traditional windmills and rich Danish heritage. From farm-to-table, rustic wine country cuisine to New American and modern Danish fare, to iconic sweets and award-winning beers, spirits and world-class wines, Taste of Solvang offers something for everyone!
Farmers Market Dinner:
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14 || 4 PM – 7 PM
Join us for this brand new family friendly farm-to-table event in downtown Solvang during the weekly farmers market, featuring in-season ingredients grown and raised by our farmers and prepared by local Chef David Cecchini of Cecco Restaurant and Mathew Raab of Fresco Valley Cafe.
First & Oak Chef Walk & Dining Experience at 3 PM:
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14 || 3 PM
Start with a conversational stroll with the popular Chef Steven Snook of First & Oak; then be led on a walking wine tour of Coquelicot Estate, ending with a 4-course tasting menu at First & Oak.
Opening Night Sip + Savor*:
FRIDAY, MARCH 16 || 7 PM – 9 PM
Featuring 25 of Solvang’s best chefs, bakers, caterers, winemakers, brewers, distillers and artisans presenting a smorgasbord of locally-inspired savory and sweet bites, wine, beer and cocktails.
SATURDAY, MARCH 17 || 11 AM – 4 PM
Discover Solvang’s many unique boutiques, eateries and other intriguing merchants, while sampling from 30+ participating businesses’ delightful delicacies and tasty offerings.
Wine & Beer Walk (21+)*:
SATURDAY, MARCH 17 || 2 – 7 PM AND SUNDAY, MARCH 18 || NOON – 4 PM
Enjoy complimentary tastings from 15+ participating wineries, breweries and wine and beer bars on this popular 2-day stroll through Solvang Village.

Join us for a seasonal brunch hosted by Solvang’s best farm-to-table catering company, K’Syrah Catering & Events, featuring locally inspired dishes, Lucas & Lewellen farmers market mimosas and Ascendant Spirits bloody marys.
