This summer, art, live music, theater and food-focused festivals share a common theme in the Santa Ynez Valley. They all pair exquisitely with the region’s bounty of world-class wine.
Each summer, the Santa Ynez Valley communities of Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang, play host to a variety of stage and musical performances, unique celebrations, and one-of-a-kind venues all set amidst the relaxed, classic California wine country backdrop for which the region is known.
From June through September, the PCPA Pacific Conservatory Theatre produces and performs a series of plays in the unique 700-seat, Elizabethan-style outdoor Solvang Festival Theater. The lineup for the 2016 PCPA at the Solvang Festival Theater, now in its 42nd year, includes The Glass Menagerie, Shrek The Musical, Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility and In The Heights.
The Solvang Festival Theater also plays host this summer to its annual Jazz in the Garden series, a series of six concerts featuring premier jazz musicians that runs through September.
Below are a few more reasons to explore the Santa Ynez Valley this summer:
