Day in the Country
Los Olivos
Saturday, October 12, 2024, 10am – 5pm
Los Olivos’ fall festival, the Day in the Country, is back! Join us for a day of vendors, specials, a small-town parade, food, wine, and beer as we celebrate Los Olivos. This family-friendly event offers a taste of simpler times, and best of all, it’s free!
Enjoy a small-town parade, the NatureTrack 5k & Fun Run, 100 vendor booths, a Wine + Beer Garden, live music, food trucks, and a Wine Roundup at our award-winning wineries.
NatureTrack Fun Run & 5K Run
Kick off Day in the Country with the traditional 5K and Fun Run, hosted by NatureTrack! USTAF certified. We also have a 1-mile Fun Run for kids 12 and under, and a race for you and your furry friends!
Wine Roundup
Get a wine tasting pass to our award-winning wineries and explore the town. The $50 pass includes 2 tastes at 9 places (18 tastes over 2 days). Wineries will offer specials for pass holders.
Located just six miles north of Solvang on Grand Ave. near HWY 154.

Preview Sale, Gala Dinner & Live Auction
Friday, November 8th.
Doors Open At 4:30 P.M.
Honoring Leo Acquistapace as the Vaquero of the Year at the Gala Dinner and Auction. Guests will have the first opportunity to view and purchase auction items showcased in the Carriage House while enjoying a selection of locally inspired appetizers. As dusk approaches, dinner will be served in the courtyard, paired with local wine and accompanied by music before the action begins with the live auction!
Santa Ynez Historical Museum & Carriage House
On Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-3, enjoy the Vaquero Show & Sale. Meet Western Artisans, purchase their quality art, silver, leather goods and more. Watch appearances by dancers from the Maria Bermudez Flamenco dance studio and Vaquero cultural performances in the courtyard throughout each day. Plan your visit to stay for grilled goodness by Geezy’s Backyard Barbecue and local libations.
BARN DANCE & PIG ROAST
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH AT THE PORK PALACE, 5:30 – 9:00 P.M.
Saturday Night! At the Pork Palace, put on your best cowboy/cowgirl duds just south of Buellton CA for a traditional Pig Roast (chicken too!). Then burn off those calories at the Barn Dance to the tunes of the Monte Mills and the Horseshoe Band.
VFW Veterans Day Commemoration in Solvang
November 11
At the Solvang Veterans Memorial Building, the American Legion Post hosts a poignant commemoration of the six branches of the military rememberances. Usually the Santa Ynez Valley band and the Santa Ynez Valley Choral play and sing patriotic marching songs and speeches are presented by current and former military officers.
The event starts at 11 AM. 1745 Mission Drive, (HWY 246), Solvang.
Roblar Winery
Launching for the fall, starting
September 15, Roblar Winery will be offering suppers on Fridays. And then, every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, they will have supper service at from
5:30-8 PM.
